Good thing we got there to see it last week-end cause they cut it down the this week. Very disappointing for the folks in Iowa. Guess people didn't want to bother with it anymore.

what a great idea and wonderful photo Carol.
It's a shame they cut it down. I think the world needs it now more the ever. I bet it was interesting when they had a wind storm.
This should be in the Photojournalism gallery.
Thanks so much for sharing.

Carol, what a shame it was ended. This was art. It is like book burning. Unfortunately, sometimes, the wrong people are in charge of things. Thank goodness you got this picture before the barbarians entered the gates!

Wonderful tree, unusual and beautiful. I don't know why they did it.

Carol, I see that you've done a lot of excersising in order to keep your physical condition perfect.
Just kidding of course.
Very sad that it will be cut down. Think that the decision makers, in their 'wisdom' (please notice the quotation marks), have forgotten to explain/motivate the necessity why this will be done. If so, a perfect example in miscommunication!

An unusual sight with so many colorful hoops and such an interesting sight. Pity they cut it down.

It's quirky things like this that add spice to life. The tree looks as though its been dead for awhile.
