Carol, a good find, resulting in a very fine capture of this Portland Prairie Methodist Episcopal Church built in 1876 in Eitzen, Minnesota. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The style of this church is very unique - suggest the arts and craft style of the 1920's but I see it's much older than that - it is the eastlake style which was considered the forerunner to the arts and craft style - very nice shot Carol.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
What elegant architecture in this place, Carol, sort of a light combination of some of the ornate detail of Victorian and the firm lines and angles of Craftsman. I am going to have to do a little reading up on Eastlake. I assume that what is true of most churches is also true here; that we are seeing the width of the building, so there are more seats inside than this facade would suggest.
