Got inside the school I posted the other day. Everything was painted fresh and the floor was going to be the next thing to do. He had even found old blackboards. I have never gone to a country school, but just looking at it, it looks pretty original in my opinion.

Carol, when I compare your previous photograph with this one, I'm surprised that this small school still offers relatively free space for the teacher(s) and his or her students. I had estimated it much smaller. Thank you for taking the time and done effort to show us the interior of the school.
You did a great job of that, showing us what schooling was like in small American communities.

I actually went to a school similar to this one. It had just four classrooms (grades 1-4) and a playground. We brought our lunches and ate at our desks. Thanks for bringing back the memories, Carol, I remember them fondly.
