Don't know the name of this barn, maybe a Wishbone or a Dutch Barn, maybe neither. In fairly good shape for as old as it is. Had no paint so I gave it a touch of brown or sepia.
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

Your processing, Carol, leaves this image looking like a prime addition to the works of Eric Sloane's "American Barns and Covered Bridges." There are also a few other volumes on historic barns and farm outbuildings, ones I discovered in a state archives years ago, that are brought to mind (except their titles, unfortunately) bu your work. Excellent, as always.
