Taken from a great distance, but I thought it worth sending in. Seems our Fall has come a little early this year or maybe it's because it is so dry here.

Carol, I can see from the grain size of your capture that it was indeed taken from quite a distance. That doesn't alter the fact that it is a great composition. In addition, the grain size has achieved a painterly effect too.
All in all, a very creditable entry to enjoy!

Starting at the top and working my way down, visually, up to the point where I reach the harvester, the image nearly captures the character and nature of some of the works of Grandma Moses. In this case the softer focus and the stronger grain works for you.
