Carol, there are various ways to perceive beauty in art. The easiest path, for me, is simply to look. Then feel.
Sometimes we become controlled by the need to have our work so focused and so self described that we lose the subject's innate beauty. I know, with my pictures, its not important to me that you see what I saw, or feel what I felt. What is important to me is that you see something that maybe moves you and you take from that a meaning special for yourself.
