Very nice image and extremely interesting. Genuinely weird - really alien - and most intriguing.

What is it? No idea. 'Motherly Love' doesn't seem quite right - not so much because there is no mother here (in some sense) but because there does not seem to be any love. But 'Captured' seems to harsh for what's here. Things seem more complex than either title suggests. The green orbs seem to be guardians and wary - wary of the red orbs and maybe more. So maybe the red are captured, but the guarding seems more preventative, more ambiguous than it does hostile or straightforwardly threatening. The little red ones do seem a bit like the progeny of the large red one, but this seems a more alien family than 'mother' or 'love' would suggest.

This is an intriguing picture. Normally I don't like computer generated pictures but this one attracted me because of the arrangement, the lighting on the balls and the bright colors. I can't help on the title "Guardians" is as good as any. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to more posts.
