One of the most beautiful stretches of beach I have ever seen. This is "Nazare" beach in Portugal. It's also one of the view beaches that isn't crammed with people. The waters are very rough on this side so they tend to stay away. You'll mostly find locals having a run with their dogs or taking a jog. This shot was taken early morning and the tide was low. It started to poor down about 10 minutes after I took this, hence the clouds, but I love the gloominess of it. Sort of puts you in a meditative mood. The kind that just makes you think about life.

Are those tiny specks people? If they are, your photo shows the vastness of "Nazare" The more photos I see of Portugal, the more I want to visit such a beautiful country. lauren

People often say that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder,' and I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder. This empowers us to find beauty in places where others have not dared to look, including inside ourselves. -Salma Hayek
