I love the background especially: i have an idea how you made it, so I'm especially impressed. I don't like the main piece much: the lines seem to be too thick for me, and the jewel seems... empty. But the colors are amazing, and the light effect is very nice too. overall, nice.

I largely agree with za4em9, except that I have no idea how you made the background and am therefore especially impressed. The background glows with beautiful greens and blues which I'm especially fond of. I'd love to see just the background since I really see the foreground as just obscuring the best part of this image!
Nice job, though. I just think the foreground is a bit too heavy and bland in comparison with the lovely background - don't hide so much of it!.
