Lioness in the Kruger Park. Six of them females were walking across the road when we approaced. They were not in a hurry, but also not in the mood to pose for us. This one just gave us this quick glance and then followed the others into the bushes. That's what make a visit to the Kruger Park so exciting. It's like opening a present. You'll see something now and the next vehicle that passes the same place won't even know that there was anything. Hope you enjoy the journey with us.

If you can get this great of a photo off just " a quick glance" I would say you are one heck of a photographer!
I already put it on my desktop and it looks wonderful. Thanks.

Well captured and well timed by what you say! Looks like she is trying to hide behind a few twigs (like that will fool them)!! Well done and I like the framing too!

Very nice capture! Well done! It's not easy to capture a good shot of animals, esp a lioness, in the wild. You've done a great job!

Good shot Susan. It looks so huge and powerful. My grandson had me save it in his critter file. Now I can look at it whenever I want. Super post.

What a great capture. I hope that you were using a telephoto, otherwise she might have been sizing you up for a meal. Love the clarity of the shot, looks like this one has some old scratches on its nose from previous altercations.

Your close up shot of this GORGEOUS lion is truly amazing. I'm going to fab this one. The detail and clarity is top notch and it would receive a 10 from me. EXCELLENT
