It's a miracle on its own how long they can survice without any water. See at your image that the environment is very dry indeed Susan. Hope for him that there will be soon a thunderstorm. Thanks for this another great post.

This is a lovely capture of this lovely coloured bird. He does look abit thirsty with his beak open like that. Well done!

I hate crows and ravens (one has nestled right on the tree in my driveway making a mess of my car and my wife's car and waking up all of us about 4:00 am with its ugly shrills). Yet, the subject aside (!), it's a great photographic rendition of this horrendously despicable ugly scavenger worthless thief of a creature!

Pied Piper and Pied Crow. All will follow. Some by land. Some by air. We just need a Pied Duck. lol. Great photo of this bird Susan and I even though I don't love the species, I have no vendetta against them either. Good clear shot.

It looks very hot in dry..Texas get the same way by end of the Summer...never seen a crow wit a white shirt...wonderful shot:)
