These age old modjadji trees are found at the Modjadji Nature Reserve between Tzaneen and Duiwelskloof . The area is which this Reserve is situated, is named after the Rain Queen, Queen Modjadji.

Has a Biblical oasis feel for some reason Susan. Maybe it is because the trees are so old. Beautiful coloring and composition. Excellent post.

Ah.....only the wikipedia link for Tzaneen worked for me, but I still appreciate this fine view. I find all trees fascinate me.
