Just a great capture Susan and I love the framing. It really funnels the attention to the bird. Excellent post.

Detail and angle are both amazing. Dramatic view of this fine bird. The heavy green cast.. was this ambient light, something you added, or...?

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.

Boy is this ever "SPECIAL". That's a statement, NOT a question. I admit to being slightly biased when it comes to "Birds" , but the clarity of this image ... the expression captured, the color that's been created by either your postwork ,or the good Lord at the moment of capture ... not to mention the fitting frame you decided upon, makes it "SPECIAL". The only flaw I would point out, is that it's not something ... I posted.

Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.

Great colors. The framing isolates him well and the shot is well taken.

Amazing raptor!! Advice...hmmmm, overall there seems to be a greenish tint to the overall piece which tends to make the bird look a little unnatural and washed-out. I luv the lOOk and angle of the capture...the framing I like as well, however I'd crop 'n' chop to have the line of the backside working right into the corner if that makes sense.

I do like the blurred backdrop, again there's a however, you need to be mindful of the backdrop...hence the tree trunk whice kinda distracts a wee bit...not bad, just a little.

All in all, a nice take other than the greenish tint that pushes. I hope that helps!! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions!!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round??

This, to me, looks like a very, very young Bald Eagle...what kind of raptor is it??
