Oh wow! You got to go up in a balloon eh? How neat!
I love the composition of the shot, and the rainbow set off by (almost) nothing but green is lovely. :)

Wow. . . I feel like I gush over your pics alot, and I don't want you to feel as if I'm any less sincere because of it. But this is gorgeous. I would denote the many high points, but that would take a while, as this picture is perfect in every way. It seems almost to jump off the screen. Very very nicely done! Keep it up!

What a fantastic shot. Love how the photo was taken above the balloon giving the photo really sense of height.

+favs.

You nailed the composition here. And then some.

Great control on the technical side of things, as well.

Don't wish to be repetitive and/or redundant ... however and forging ahead ... nicely.. done. :o)

Thanks for sharing this unique and most visually intriguing perspective afforded by your own at the time. :o)

I'm not seeing an Art Council button here so I'm sure it's already been deservedly nominated. As the others have stated above—gorgeous, awesome, thrilling, fantastic, unique—it's all of that and more. The crystal sharpness of the balloon and its occupants vs. the hazy character of the scene below harkens to the first time I slipped beneath the waters of Tokyo Bay, in a wetsuit and carrying my air supply. The balloon you're in here is your air supply and you've captured a view of another world, truly, not at all unlike scuba diving, where one feels as though slow-motion flight is the norm. Saved to my desktop and faved to my Caedes file. Thanks loads for sharing this "99 c-index" beauty with us (and not the poor 73 I'm seeing above). I would have said 100 except I'm as green (with envy) as the landscape below your balloon.

To see a hot air balloon from another one is just awesome! What a feeling! I sit here and am totally devouring this feeling! To see the balloon in front of only the green is really magical.
And to even see the people in the basket, wow. We just had a hot air balloon festival here. Something so whimsical about all of these. I am also enjoying all the shadows and sunlight. And you are so right when you wrote that we can't rush anything worthwhile. A photo to be very proud of. Verena

Q: Why did the blonde get so excited after she finished her jigsaw puzzle in only 6 months? A: Because on the box it said From 2-4 years. Q: How do you confuse a blonde? A: Ask her to alphabetize a bag of M&Ms. Q: Why are dumb blonde jokes so short? A: So brunettes can remember them.
