10favs. me too! ;) There isn't a specific reason I can pinpoint. It's just the way the whole beautiful flawless image comes together and the feeling it creates. Just terrific work on this one Tracy.
:D Thanks you guys! I never know what will be liked and what wont anymore. LOL! Glad that you like this one. There is actually something behind this one. I wont reveal it though until someone happens to mention it. I like to see what other ppl get from it. ; )
Thanks so much for the 10's and favs! whoo!
I'll be interrested to see what the story is and who the girl walking into the sunset with Pan is. Beautifully pieced with the mist tying the image together.
lol! thanks Tony. I try not to pay any attention to those c-indexes anymore. But, at times I wonder too...I think some of my best work has been my manips that have the lowest c-index.

There is a pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is a rapture on the lonely shore,
There is a society, where none intrudes,
By the deep Sea, and music in its roar,
I love not man less, but Nature more

What a wicked image you have her Tracy. The empty Black of the eyes leaves you with a chilling feeling. And yet keep’s you wanting to look from a distance. Well done!
The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is a totally awesome book... and this is an awesome picture depicting how Jadis was a beautiful (although dispicable) Ice Queen. Great job!
Finally someone got that this was from the Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Excellent image. I'm going to have to save this one for my future children when I read the book to them.
Haha I'm glad someone else knows its from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe... even though you beat me too saying it! I thought she was only called Jadis in the Magicians Nephew, however. Since the picture takes place in the LWW, she would have been the ice queen by then, right? I still love the image. CS Lewis is my favorite author. Nicely done!
I knew what it was right off. It was the title that did it. When I have a migraine I listen to these books on CD.
This is beautiful and wonderful. I love it.

The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I could, I would give you an award. But alas, I cannot. So the highest praise I can award you with, is faving your artwork. Bene lava!!
