this is completely out of focus - but, i wanted it that way - reminds me of an old photograph - which was the look that i was going for.

I have not found words to express how AMAZING this picture is. I mean, it is quite rare that I find myself staring at a piece, but this is great! The focus is completely disregarded...my concern is the composition, which leaves me in awe. Ok, I've finally put my eyes back in my head, thank you for sharing this lovely shot :)

This shot is wonderful..I love the presentation and the blur doesn't bother me, yet what does bother me is the broom..I'd love to see a really old-fashioned straw broom there ...otherwise it's a lovely compo

I totally agree with 4ever...the focus doesnt even count here, there is SO much character and feeling in this shot, I too am just mezmerized by it. I love the lonely quiet feeling I get as I look at this. And the old house looks so much like a few photos I was able to take of an old house just like this...I love the nostalgia I get here...its a fantastic shot!!! Verena

The out of focus actually lends a nostalgic feel to it. It really captures what I'm so fascinated by in old houses.

an old straw broom would have worked better for the nostalgic feel - however, what I found interesting about this particular house - there was just no turning back, it was too far gone to bring back to life - but, this broom shows that someone thought that it could be brought back to life - which I found hilarious.

This photo makes one imagine that the scene has been as it is shown here for hundreds upon hundreds of years, without change or disturbance. It's a great photograph.

I knew you take advantage of the new size formats. The contrast and the shroud of darkness make the photo for me.

This is a very interesting shot. The colours are fantastic. I find my eyes travelling around the picture looking at an old broken place and then I come to the brush, an implement of cleaning, just standing there seemingly unfullfilled. Brilliant!

This is indeed a terrific shot! I love the colour and the dark 'halo' effect works well. A real mode evoking piece.
