For some reason I woke up this morning at 5:15. My obsessed picture taking mind must have been on auto, cause this is exactly what I saw when I looked out the window. It was pretty amazing to see. I went back to bed and when I woke up later, I thought I'd dreamed it. But, in this case, the camera didn't lie.

Terry, this is great. I've had the same thing happen - waking up at the crack of dawn, unplanned, just to shoot a sunrise and go back to bed. Really sharp image and great color. Well done, sleepyhead. anne :-)

Wonderful photo Terry! I'm glad that you didn't dream this brilliant scene. There is however, one thing that's bothering me: I now have Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water" rolling around in my head ... Smoke on the waaater/Fire in the sky... ... .. ... . :)
