There was a little old lady feeding this flock just beyond the camera. They were crowding her so much I was afraid they might knock her over so I tried to distract them. But a camera is no match for a bag of bread, I guess.

You do not have to thank me if I leave a comment on your image...unless you really want to. ...this is a new thing to save time. =) All my thanks are becoming, "Thank you for the comments." over and over... If you want to thank me post a comment on one of my shots. I would appreciate it. Help me develop and grow.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

These guys obviously never heard of birth control...LOL. Wow, nice shot, Terry. Everything is sharp and well defined. Good color. One neat little trick I like to use is to clone out any critter at the edge that is cut off. When a partial person or animal is left on the edge of the frame it creates a kind of subliminal antagonism. Human nature wants to fix it - something like the teacher who leaves a smidge of chalk on the board after erasing. Yeah? anne :-)

Don't tell me it's good, tell me what is good about it. Don't tell me it stinks, tell me what I can do do improve it. Thank you for taking the time to tell me anything at all. Be blessed. anne :-)

Well, that would depend on whether you're hungry or vain, I guess. Quite a beautiful shot and these geese are Canadian geese, right? Nice to see them all grouped together on the beach like that. Really lovely shot, Terry.

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

This is simply elegant. A congregation of beauty. Looks like they had the whole beach to themselves. Everybody needs this image.

Better one goose in the pond than a 100 on the beach!
Nice photo Terry,

If you can't find the words, you may as well shoot it...

There's all kinds of birds in this photo just waiting for a piece of bread isn't there? LOL. Poor lady- I hope she brought enough. I have never seen this many birds gathered at one time Terry- Great capture of this.

Nice shot, with lots of action. I think if it was me, I would have cropped just a tad of the lefthand side, but that's just personal preference. Good work.

I always like to feed ducks orange sauce saves all the problems of adding it later. This shot certainly brings to mind a sumptuous feast Ron.

Great photo and the story behind it makes it lovelier. Canada Geese, along with a sprinkling of ducks and gulls, are so photogenic and difficult to resist capturing - I'm glad you didn't fight the urge!
