Lake Huron on a windy day. The water's not as blue as it usually is!

Hi Terry, this is very good capture. Nice sky, water and shoreline all make for good composition. The wind has churned up water, but you are right Lake Huron has beautiful blue water. And if I remember right you have terrific sunset over lake in summer...gerry..

What an amazing photo Terry. The wind blowing in the tree is awesome and the whitecaps coming in to shore just show how strong that wind is. Love your composition and the lighting throwing the shadown of the tree on those rocks. This is excellent and def a keeper. Thanks for sharing this.

I can feel the strength of the wind in your photo Terry. It really does have the water churned up and the trees bending. Perfect angle to have shot this from too to capture this moment. What a pretty place this is with the rocks, those trees and of course that beautiful water.

Can anyone capture the wind? Well, Terry Del, you did with this amazing shot! I love all the elements in here, especially the effects of the wind blowing the trees, the sea, the shrub and the clouds. Beautiful!

Never rebuke while you’re still indignant about a fault committed—wait until the next day, or even longer. Then calmly, and with a purer intention, make your reprimand. You’ll gain more by a friendly word than by a three-hour quarrel. -Josemaria Escriva

I like the effects of the wind and the blueness of the water farther out and how it's not the same blue as the sky, but they are both lovely blues!

How lovely it is when unexpected blessings come into my life to cheer me up and put a smile into my heart. Help me to pass them on, dear Lord. Fay Angus

I feel like I would if I were standing there, with my hair blown straight back from my face. I love the way the rocks give the eye a place to rest from all the action and angles going on here, as does the "wall" standing in the water. This is outstanding also for all the reasons stated above by the good commenters that got here before me, and for these reasons, it is in my faves :)PJ
