Summer afternoon - summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.  ~Henry James I'm hanging on to summer as long as I can!

Beautiful scene Terry. The colors in the trees sure tell the story...fall is on it's way. But the colorful flowers in the foreground make us want to hang on as long as possible. Very pleasing scene and thanks for sharing it.

This does conjure up a warm fuzzy feeling. I' not trying to be facetious here. It does take me back to a more relaxed care-free time. A photo with a good feel. Well done, Terry.

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away. Henry D. Thoreau

Summer days are running out too soon Terry...you have to enjoy them while they are still here..and I cannot think of a better place to enjoy them as what you have captured here...gerry..

Great perspective and even better in the DOF. Do you know what aperture you shot this at? Beautiful flower bush. Love the entire scene.

What a pretty Summer scene. Love the colors and how you chose to shoot the photo. The tree shapes are interesting, especially the center one (background), and add pleasant character to the entire feel of the piece. Wish I were there!

I really like this post Terry. You're sharing with us a beautiful flowering shrub and also a peek of this park which looks so inviting as well. Excellent work!
