I'll say they are having a party and what a great place to have one. Last one in is a rotten egg! Nicely done, thanks for the post.

A whole gaggle !!! Gathering for a final fond ado :) This is a nicely composed pic, Terry, and you've done a great job of capturing this as they are all calm and collected and seem not to mind you being there at all....good telephoto lens? The clarity is crisp as there is a lot of action going on here with the milling geese. The coloring is wonderful and can be plainly seen in the colors that are so truly lifelike. What a rare treat to see so many birds in one place in this day in time. :)PJ

The clarity and detail is superb in this Terry. Lucky you to have seen this personally. I heard some Canadian geese flying over my house this morning and was unable to see them when I stepped out on the deck so I'm really glad you posted this. Now I'm seeing more than I would have LOL. Thanks Terry.

They pick the nicest places to take their rests. They are pretty smart to know how to get where they are going. What a nicely composed scene. It couldn't be better than this. Lots of colors in here too making a really grand fall image.

Pretty to look at...but I'll stay home from the party. Canadian geese make as much mess as Mardi Gras & St Patrick's Day partiers combined. Jas

Hey, I saw those guys flyin' by on their way south last week. I guess they didn't all go together, eh? Beautiful shot Terry. Nicely composed, good color ('cept the sky's a little cyan ;-) It's going to be cold there soon. Stay warm, anne :-)

Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand. ~Margery Williams The Velveteen Rabbit~
