This beautiful bird looked as though he/she was posing for me today, while out walking along the side of the river Derwent. I liked how the wing feathers were being displayed.
God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you.

This reminds me so much of the statue in Neuswanstein. Mad Ludwig dearly loved his swans and spared no expense in displaying these beautiful birds. Very artfully done, Ann.
For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, His eternal power and Godhead;... Rom 1:20
You have done very well with this capture. Such wonderful detail in the feathers and the bird's head. Even reflections in the water, a mirror image. Into the favs it goes Ann.
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
