This Bluebell wood I found last weekend near to Storton Harold Resevoir while out driving. As a child I used to pick arm fulls of these beautiful blue flowers, but now it is not allowed as they say they are an endangered species. I think capturing them with a camera is now the next best thing!

Fine little post Ann. I try taking shots like this but then I put them on the computer and say,..... Boy, it sure looked a lot better when I took it.
But you make them look far better than I could.
Thanks !

If they are endangered, I guess you can't walk the dog there either, can you? LOL. Very nice, Ann. I like that strange looking tree there, also.

I'd rather be here, than where I'm at

Dogs have small feet as compared to humans so they would not cause much damage to flowers. This is to Jimbo. LOL
Lovely image, Ann, and the overall lighting here plus colours makes the scene like one from a fairy tale.

I really like this flower, which covers the ground of English forests only during spring. We haven't got this pretty flower here. Thanks for this beauty.

Nice post Anne
It's good to see nature in a less hindered state, & those bluebells add sparkle to the woods
Well done. :o)

It looks like a place to rest, to have quiet, to read a book, to have a picnic. It is a beautiful quilt from Mother Nature.
