This is a sculpture I found outside the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury in Kent this last weekend. I dont know how tall it is, but it must be at least 10-16 feet tall. I like the unusual, and this is certainly that!
A fabulous capture Ann. Love the texture of this sculpture and it looks like it is made of steel. The clarity and lighting are amazing. It looks like she needs some really good anti-wrinkle cream, lol. WONDERFUL job
What a great work of art and what a wonderful capture! Excellent shot Ann! I share your liking for the unusual and this one certainly fits the description!
Ann, what a wonderful image and piece of public art. One thing I'm so pleased about is that towns and cities all over Britain are commissioning more public art. Here on Merseyside we have our wonderful Superlambanana (photographs soon) and of course, Antony Gormley's Another Place. This is a fabulous sculpture and a great capture.
