Didnt really take this at midnight, but with a little manipulation it looked better than the original photo, so thought I would see what you all thought about it. To all my friends out there, sorry I have not been commenting on your work, but life sort of took over these past couple of months!!! John (Casechaser) was very worried about me, so thought I would let you know that I am still here and do look in at all your uploads. Hope to be uploading alot more now. Wishing you all well!

I sure am glad to see you are fine, and have posted this great picture. I love the deep colors of it. It looks like you used a black satin sheet as a background. Well done, Ann. Welcome back.

See, I told you we were all missing you! I love your picture. The coloring and detail is excellent and I hope whoever's garden you captured this in, they are well compensated by your use of their yard. Best wishes on everything.

FABULOUS rich colours and work you did with this Ann. Brilliant posting and so excited that your back again. Jimbob is so right the background does look like a beautiful black velvet or satin.

The colour purple (now, that's a good name for a bestselling book and a film) is my favourite and the image of the flower is very good. It is well in focus and well lit.The manipulation adds to the image ,which is the main thing.

Good to have you back Ann.

Beautiful colors and crisp detail. I can understand the interruption. I spent most of the last month in Oklahoma. Hope all is closer to normality.
