Wanted to create a moody shot, especially when I saw the mist surrounding these trees yesterday morning. I keep thinking Old Bob's seat, but I dont think he'd want to sit there in that cold and damp setting!

This is an eye catcher, Ann. I love it. It looks a little chilly to sit on that bench for very long, though. Nice work.

Q-Ann, this is very well done. The bench represents a place to sit and allow one's memories to flow from the hidden rooms of their minds and be viewed between the blinks of their eyes.

But, the bench is empty and its loneliness is shared with the sparse trees in the forest. Maybe the trees represent the memories.

I detect color at the foot of the trees. If it is just my monitor, I do not know, but I thought how additionally strong the picture would be in complete black and white. With the fallen leaves, the empty bench, the sparse trees, the morning mist, all achieve the depressing feeling of being alone.

As I said, very well done, my friend.

This is such a classic B&W! Wonderful shot, love the lone bench and trees framing the background. Great job!

You captured a lonely and bleak atmosphere Ann :) It has good depth and is very well composed.
I would have prefered a black frame in keeping with the image but that is just a personal preference.

I like the green frame. In fact, when I saw this in the voting booth without knowing who it was that made this photo, that's exactly what I thought. I'm not wild about black and white, so what this said to me was that the artist was contemplating the dull colors of late fall and early winter and wishing for a touch of the green of spring.

Well, it was awe inspiring to me, be that as it may!

Great B&W shot. You have captured a feeling as well as the photo. I like the angle you chose to shot it. The one thing is the green frame. I personally don't think it fits in with the over all picture. I find it distracting and takes away from what is a superb shot.

Love the atmosphere and mood depicted with this image. I too find the perspective and composition quite good. Don't care for the frame tho sorry. All in all a very nice work.
