I dont know the real name of this tree, but it looked just like pom-poms hanging from it - hence my name for it. I have tinted this to give a better effect and to high-light the curious branches, twigs and of course pom-pom like objects hanging from it. Hope you like!

I do indeed like. No point in asking me what tree it is but like Pat said , love the colour and angle.

Very unique~made me smile! I have also wondered what kind of trees these are. Like the silhouettes against the deep blue~very striking! Nice job! :)Ami

I believe that you have found the always fearsome Rorschach Barmy "bats in the belfry" Tree. Please do not try to connect the dots. Do not try to explain what you think you are seeing before your very eyes. It is all a test just to confirm that you are bonkers. Turn off your computer, go outside, and run up and down the sidewalks while screaming, "I'm mad as hell and I am not going to take it any more!" That will show-em.

I really like the color tone in this, and the partial view of the church. Very nice, Ann.

I always wondered where the cheerleaders got those Pom-Poms. So now i know, they grow on trees, Interesting!. Those silhouettes look great against the deep blue sky. Nice work Ann.
Thanks for sharing

It looks to me like the Sweet Gum tree. It has star-shaped leaves and gum balls in the fall.
