This is a view of Scarborough just as night fell. You can just see the silhouette of Scarborough castle where the sky is still light on the top left. I didnt have my tripod with me, so used the railings to keep my camera still. I think it only just worked! Any comments appreciated!

Considering you didn't have a tripod I think this is magnificent. There appears to be no blur and the lights are well in focus. The curve of the bay stands out very well as does the silhouette of the castle.
I must admit that I half thought it was going to be a joke and all there would be was a black picture entitled "Scarborough at Night!"

Are you going to Scarborough Fair? Do th3ey hold the fair at the Castle? LOL. Enough being silly. I like the curve of the shore, and those lights are so gorgeous. Nice capture, Ann.

It is like a bird in flight with the regal head top left and stretching across left to right. The strong right wing extending center left to bottom right. A city in flight, checking on its location, using the light house as a guide.
