I came across this water pump and trough while walking around Calke Abbey near Ticknall. I thought the foliage made a nice back drop. Thank you in advance of any comments.
Beautifully done, Ann, focusing our attention on that really old water pump and the angle keeping the red and green color to brighten up the scene. Very pretty.
Wow Ann, this is spectacular!! Very inviting with the blurred BG and dark tones. I might have nudged it up a bit so as to capture the bottom corner of the trough but otherwise this is very beautiful:):)
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
I think you should have ripped off all of the green foliage and exposed more of the red brick. I do not know if that would have made a better picture, but it would have been somewhat of an adventure to wire you the bail money to get out of jail.
