I visited Combe Abbey a while back and in the grounds I came across this sculpture. It is of a Cistercian monk and it was carved out of a Giant Redwood Tree. I love unusual finds like this. Hope you do too. Thank you in advance for any comments.

Yep he's tall alright. Now that took some great wood carving. Lovely capture and like the way it's amongst the trees
