I visited Ashbourne in Derbyshire at Easter and found these gorgous flowers growing along a stone wall. They looked stunning. I think they are Japonica - perhaps someone will know for sure. Thank you in advance for any comments.

Dearest Ann, this is my most beloved quince !!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely smelling fruit later in summer. Some people here knew how to cook them or do other things.
