Yet another area of Trentham Gardens. This road ran along the side of the lake. I think this is the best time of year with all the Rhododendrons in full bloom. I just love their colour. Im not sure where this road went to as we decided not to chance the weather, but I plan to go back and find out one day. Thank you in advance for your comments.

The path is a great lead in to this lovely scene. Nice composition with the good solid trea trunk and those purple flowers are gorgeous.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

---The Road to Somewhere---

Ann, this title eases my mind to a certain extent. Imagine that you had chosen the title 'Road to Nowhere', than we would have been in troubles my friend, lol.

Very fine image in your 'Trentham Gardens' series again. Well done!

Regards, Cornelius.

Those Rhodies seem abundant down this lane. Looks like a lot of territory to explore at these gardens. I just commented on an image called "Middle of Nowhere" and now I am on the road to "somewhere". lol

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun

I love your title and the image. Sometimes the road we take can be more interesting than our destination.
