This is nicely composed and well taken, but it makes me sad to see that trains are going the way of the bison in this country. The roundhouse was very important to the railway as it exchanged the engines that were to be used..you see I'm an expert on this because I read all the "Thomas the Tank Engine" series..lol.. But I see that most of the tracks up here in my neck of the woods are being torn up to be used as snowmobile trails and we're beginning to see more and more trucks hauling our goods in as our part of the Interstate was finally finished a few years back. I'm not sure which one is progress, but I'm glad you took the time to take this pic and send it on to us :)PJ
This is such a classy and classic capture Michael. I love the history behind the roundhouses as well as the excellent clarity and high quality that you have in this image. Spot on composition and I really like how you did the sepia. It gives the whole picture that 'old time' feel. Well done and thank you for sharing this with me ;=)
