I have the feeling that you live next to the ocean. I can visit and visit and never get a shot like this..it's like you can live up here in the North Country and just drive out anytime you want and nab something that no one just visiting would ever see. At any rate, no matter how you got it...it's a wonderful and dramatic scene and one that lives on my hard drive !
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
Great shot Tom! The image is full of lively, moody movement. I like the froth on the surface of the sea, and that single slapping wave. The line of the posts and the boulders leading one's eye out to the distant storm also give a very nice sense of distance, mood and atmosphere. Good work!
What a beautiful scene! I can almost hear the crash of the waves against the rocks. For me this scene is calming, even though it is stormy. Kudos on a fine job!
Love the shot, Tom, a great real time capture. Looks like it's still raining not too far out to sea. Glad to see you got a half way decent c-index on this.
