I love shooting up into tree tops. I have posted several like this and they never score well. I hope yours does. I like this angle and perspective.

It is like nature's attempt at an impressionist painting. It's beautiful. When I stare at it long enough, it's the rivers and streams of light blue that I see, more than the peppering of yellows, reds, oranges and greens. It's a beautiful capture, Tomeast. Crisp and striking colors!
I too had the yin/yang vision when I saw it in the voting booth. I gave it a very high score, but I see that not all the votes have been counted yet. I love these sorts of shots...I walk around with a neck ache during the fall!!
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Just had this in the VB and gave it high score, but see that you have a very low C-index.... don't understand it.
It's a lovely shot. Thanks for sharing.
Interesting how this image parallels some of the classical fractals I see where the branches of neighboring trees get close but never quite touch... What a nice view.
