Located in Carver Ma., this mini train was once used to haul cranberries from the bogs.Edaville in now open to the public and offers rides most of the year. The train sits idle here for a few months.
Gorgeous! My only suggestion with this one is that I think in terms of artistic quality the shot could be a bit better shooting the train at a different angle.
The colors of the train look fantastic against the white snow. The angle on the train is really good too. An excellent photo, Tom. I have never been to Carver.
I think this is a wonderful image Tom, The angle you chose along with the color contrasts are very well done. I also like the way the snow looks on the tracks behind the train.
Inspiring! The bright colors really pop against the winter backdrop. Although after d'loading and seeing the full effect of the photo, it is a beautiful location without the train. The open area to the left looks nice for exploration.
Wait...I'm late again, but I have to tell you that I got a sense of the train leaving us for the season by the positioning you gave it in the photo and the angle. I may be reading a bit between the lines, but that's what good art does to me!
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
Tom Wonderful photo. It brings back alot of memories as a child and the visits to Edaville Railroad. SO MANY MEMORIES AND SO MUCH FUN. To be that young again.
Nevertheless this is stunning my friend!!
