Tom, This is perfectly composed. I like the old structures from so long ago, and the quiet and peaceful feeling I get while viewing this one. I really like this one. Great job.

Tom - A terrific shot of "Main Street" in the plantation reconstruction, looking toward the Bay. Last time I was there, it was a cold, windy, rainy November day that provided insight into how difficult were the first years. Thad

Beautiful, and with the ocean beyond. And no tourists.. only a villager and that fellow far down the road in what looks like the magistrate's robe. I like how the wooden fence winds its way through it all, too. Wonderful!

What a most beautiful place!! I love the fences!! And the gorgeous shadows you got too. And then to look down the pathway and see the wonderful Ocean...its just magnificent. The steep rooftops are awesome too. I think you gave us the total feeling of this wonderful place. Thank you so much. Verena

Wonderfully composed with the fence leading to the water. Can imagine how different it looks in a few month into summer. Love the light and shadows.

A wonderful composition with an extra complexity in the shadow detail. It makes a terrific desktop with great depth and points of interest. It would be nice to know if this was a working village or a carefully preserved prop. Either way, it's a keeper.

While on a business trip about 10 years or so ago, my wife visited this village and loved it. Every time we see a movie or a photo or something on TV she mentions how much she enjoyed the place. So when I saw this gorgeous tack-sharp image of it I knew it had to be on the monitor when she got up this morning. It was. She saw it. She smiled. And showed it to her sister. Now I need to go look at the other one you posted. Thanks for sharing it Tom.
