There are some very large photos on that building that are called , fisherman`s wives. They a tribute to the Portuguese fishing community in Provincetown Ma.I seem to be attracting strange cloud formations these past few months and this is another.

What a good shot Tom. There is a lot to look at and enjoy.
The muted tones are perfect. It looks like the gulls/pigeons like it as well.

Hi, Tom...

I was just online with The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. I didn't think it was possible, but they have confirmed that your presence seems to be the root cause of these unusual clouds formations.

The East Coast seems ripe with these glorious oceanfront scenes with quaint wharves filled with rooftops full of gulls.

My personal preference would have been to crop out the structure on the left and some of the sky so that it looked more like this.

How lovely that they would hang pictures of their wives on the building. They are huge pictures too. Looks like a gray day at P'town. I have been there only once. It was sunny here this morning and just around 1 p.m. a very dark funnel shaped cloud moved in from the west and I thought, Oh, no, not another tornado! Then it poured like crazy, just like it did yesterday. Strange weather. So don't blame yourself for the dark clouds, Tom.

It definatly looks like a storm is rolling in. It does make for a very interesting capture though. Great composition and lighting control.

What a fascinating wharf! I like the moody skies and sombre blues accenting the scene as well. Very nicely composed. I do like Rogers suggestion too, yet I would want to keep more of the unusual clouds in the image.

I like your edit of this Roger. .I almost always re size my photos to 1920x1200 for my monitor and have to find a happy medium with cropping the top and bottom. I can not always crop in the thirds rule if I want something to one side or another in the photo. My fault for not always lining things up correctly in the first place.I wanted the lighthouse in the photo and had to leave more sky in than I would have liked , I do not have the skills to move it like you did. Yes ,NOAH wants to track me with gps to study the clouds that follow me around ,ha. Your comments have had a significant effect on my thinking about lining things up and editing etc.I appreciate this Roger.
