I spotted this in a friends garden in summer. A hummingbird Clearwing moth.

This is such a good action capture, they are a challenge to catch, and to even spot in the first place, kudos for this hard to take capture. I think they are so cool, and have learned to look for them in the summer months. tigs=^..^=

Tom, this moth must have thought: that what is good for butterflies is good for me as well. Guess he did not resist the smell of the butterly bush (officially named Buddleja or Buddleia).
