The original looks better than the b/w version especially because of the sea and the sky.

I liked them both and like Sandi, for their different merits. I think the details may be better in the color version. The foot prints grabbed me in this one where I may have not thought of them in the b&w.

Browns and blues are a natural compliment to each other. And these particular softened colors of brown and blue just pleasantly scream "Beachy!".

Add to that the wash of light lavender/pink in the sky and it breathes life and fresh air into the overall image.

I like this one more. It is a life because of the colors. Nice angle also.

To me, like apples and oranges, they aren't comparable because each version has its own charm and character, Tom.
