An interesting and creative image, which seems to have suffered from a rather harsh assessment in the Voting Booth. The lurid blue colour works very well here, and the tufts of green hair add to the illusion of reality. I think the creature could do with an appendage of some sort (claw? tentacle?) to give it more of a sense of action, and perhaps some vague indication of background rather than just inky blackness.

Hmm I think having 50 views and 25 downloads, thats half of all who looked kept it, and a c index of 41 at this point is sure very good. Most don't get that too often. Personally, I can't figure out what this is, as it is so dark. It looks like an apple with hair growing from it. Sorry, but that's how it appears to my eyes. Maybe it needs a bit of something else.Kind of like Krt mentioned. Verena

This is indeed a veryinteresting image you've created! I really like the way it looks, but maybe you could do something with the background. Just to give us a feeling as to where in the caves it lives!

Thanks for all the comments! This was the first, rough version of the creature, I'm currently working on another one. I promise the next render will be easier to see and not just a black background :).
