Amazing how these trees have formed a natural bridge over the road. No wonder you love this street. ;) Nice editing. Gives it a down home charm. Great title!!
Thank you for the nice comments! I added the original color version to the photography section of my website for anyone who wants to see it. When I can get a shot on a sunnier day I will be posting it in color because I think the street is far more beautiful with sun shining through. The version on my website could probably use a little cleaning up in paint-shop but I just posted the original. Thanks again~
wow this is just beautiful... i love streets like that, and it sucks because the street i live on used to be lined with maple trees till most of them were cut down.. brings back memories.. great shot
Your choice of black and white on this image is excellent. I'd love to see your sunny day image in B&W too. When light comes through trees and forms dappled shadows on the ground it looks striking in B&W. Good framing too. The tree on the left seems part of the virtual arch in the image. Bueno!

Of the 2 shots you took of this road, and all the different ways you presented it to us, this is my favorite mainly for the angle. I like this angle better than the other one. The color in this one reminds me of my favorite DMB song "Grey Street". (that's where my little signature quote is from).
There's an emptiness inside her and she'd do anything to fill it in. Though it's red blood bleeding from her now, it's more like cold blue ice in her heart. She feels like kicking out all the windows and setting fire to this life. She could change everything about her using colors bold and bright, but all the colors mix together...to grey. ~*DaveMatthewsBand*~
