I walked out to the middle of the Shepaug River while hiking near the old railroad tunnel in Washington Depot, CT. The river is so shallow you can easily see the bottom where there is no reflection from the sun. I went to see the tunnel but this is my favorite shot of the day.

It's a beauty Josh! I like the sparkling water backed by the green grass. Also like the fact that no sky is visible which highlights the water that much more. Nice capture.

I can see why it is your favorite! Given the sparkles on the water, you did a nice job of balancing the overall exposure...the background holds detail well and the leaves in the right forground are just right!

Oh! I know that feeling...when I went to N.Idaho, I waded in the Clearwater River, it is the most awesome river!! So quiet...and you could only hear the soft sound of the water and the birds...was just fantastic. I can see why you love this spot...and why this pic turned out so well...!! Bravo for sure!!
