A captivating view of Salzburg, Austria. This is the town where The Sound of Music was filmed. I took this picture from the top of a fortress there, it was quite a haul to get up there.

This is nicely composed. I wish the foreground trees were just a tad lighter because I keep trying to see something there. You have heaps of detail in the centre to keep me busy :-) is that a runway in centre? I really like the toning in the background mountains and those clouds are simply wonderful. It’s one of the best half-light landscapes I have seen for a while.
