There are around 60 slow-growing woody-stemmed species in this genus in the cycad family. They resemble palms but are not related. Almost all from tropical and subtropical habitats. Male and female organs are found on separate plants. In this shot you can see the Japanese species 'Cycas revoluta'. They grow everywhere in Japan except the northern island of Japan, Hokkaido. Taken in Tokyo Bay.

Good choice keeping this monochromatic. I'd also like to see it in color as well though. This really is a great shot and i love the perspective Tibi!
