This small cascade is found on Boulder Creek in the Whiskeytown National Rec Area. It is off the beaten path, I had to fight my way through heavy under-brush to get here and see the clear deep pool before cascading over more rocks.

Spot-on! What a lovely capture you got here! You arranged the stream, so it winds through the image nicely and the slow exposure is very well executed leaving the surrounding land crisp while blurring the motion. The clear water allows the rich colors to jump right out.

The angle of the tree branches combines with the rush of the water to make one feel almost dizzy. What a dreamy photograph.
