We've had nothing but rain in Northern California lately but I didn't want that to stop me from getting out. This small stream feeds into Deer Creek east of Chico California. I liked the look of the barkless logs and green suroundings.

I know the feeling, its the exact same thing up here in Oregon. But no matter what, there is always beauty out there, and you found it. I like how smoothe the logs are..I just wish somehow I could tell just what size they are. They could be huge or tiny...but I love the photo...I'm glad you took the time to take this picture and to post it. One day it will stop raining...April showers bring May flowers eh? lol...Verena

I will start out with my one negative comment and that is that I think I might have liked this image a little better without the extremely long shutter. If I could have see the sharp crispness in the water it would have done more for me. With that being said, the colors are amazing and I love the contrast between bright waterfall and dark surroundings. Nicely done.

I love the way the water looks extremely smooth because of the long shutter speed. Well done! Absolutely fascinating! Great picture.
