This is known as Phantom Falls for two reasons, first it's difficult to find, second, it only flows when it rains. Since we've had lot's of rain this past month the water was flowing nicely. This fall originates on top of a plateau and falls over volcanic cliffs as you can see. The total drop of this fall cannot be judged from this picture because there are a lot of trees at the base of the falls and the flow is obscured.

What a beautiful photo! The way it ends up that hill, it's amazing. The colors are great and sharp but it's a little dark. Although magnificent picture, nicely done!

This is a really interesting picture. The mysterious way the water disappears into the shadow is quite compelling. I wonder what it would look like when the sun is on the falls.

Absolutely fantastic image! I love the colors and how you didn't try to just focus on the fall but, rather, gave us a view of the surrounding area. I love it. I do believe it needs to find it's way to my favorites... Again, great job.
