I used Kristof's owl (see here for the original) for this one. Played around a bit with the colours and added a few rainbow layers. What set my of to do it was the fact, that when I increased the brightness, the reflection in the eyes became clearer. Hope you enjoy it.

I really like the right eye- very dramatic and clear. But I don't really like the effect of the rainbow- doesn't add much to the image in my opinion. and the left eye has too much brightness.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Dan. In fact, that poor owl looks blind in his left eye.

Art is the perception of the creator. Meaning is the perception of the viewer. acceptance is the perception of society.

Thx for the comments.
But it seems I have to explain myself a bit more.
I know that technically this pic is not worth much, but for me the concept is more important (compare it to the way the impressionists went about their work). The right eye represents the clear, objective way to look at the world. The left eye stands for the clouded judgement we all have, because of our experiences. The right side of the owl is also the one with the most detail and colour. The left side is blurred and "over-exposed". But it is the eye-catcher of the the whole. Anyway, that was my idea behind it.
