Visiting archaeological sites near Gaziantep, Turkey, this museum was very impressive. The room with frescoes is 2nd - 3rd Century A.D., from the ancient city of Zeugma, Euphrates Villa. Taken with my phone, forgot to bring camera, unfortunately. Always appreciate comments and advice. Thanks.

You did an excellent job with the phone !
Images like this really fill me with wonder - that this art was created so long ago, that they have lasted so long and that they are still beautiful.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

We used to take many holidays to both Greece & Turkey, quite some years ago...love those places, and enjoyed taking pictures of the ruins!

Zeugma, named for the bridge of boats which crossed the Euphrates River, connecting east to west. How fortunate you are to have such historical sites so near to home. I-envy your I-phone for its inclusion with you to lay witness to such historical locals.

In addition with some comments, a phone camera on its own won't provide us with fine images like this one. It's its owner that gives it the 'order' to capture a scene. The keen eyes of the owner is very helpful to enhance the result. Therefore I agree with Lyn, Raj and Pat (SAW) because they have noticed your photographic skills in their comments.
Very well seen and done, Vicki!
